In this short essay we are researching the thematic and morphological characteristics of the romantic style in three poems of the Athenian romantic period and identifying the way in which the female form is rendered. In order, of course, to understand the context in which such a search finds its expression, it is necessary -even briefly- to examine the place and time of Romanticism, in the environment that shaped the identity of the texts to be examined. Our goal here is to understand the texts against the background of the dynamics of the era in which they are produced, and from which they derive their content. The narration of romantic poetry is partly a reflection of the way in which the poet sees the world around him and is therefore a source of valuable information, not only for the purposes of the study, but also for understanding the anthropological context of the Romantic Movement.
